Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pride App SL ("Pride App", "we", "us") for using the Pride App mobile app and website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Pride App.

1. What Pride App does

Pride App lets you find and book hotel rooms and shortlet homes, order food for delivery or pickup, and reserve restaurant tables in Sierra Leone. The hotels, shortlet owners and restaurants ("businesses") are independent. They provide the stay, the food or the table; we provide the app, take your payment on their behalf and pay them out. Riders who deliver food are independent riders using Pride App.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or use Pride App with a parent or guardian's permission.
• Give your real name and a phone number or email you control. Keep your sign-in codes and password to yourself: Pride App staff will never ask for them.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
• After a sign-in on a new phone, some money actions wait 24 hours to protect you from SIM swap fraud.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Leones and include the taxes and fees shown before you pay. Hotel and shortlet prices can change by night; the total for your dates is shown before you book.
• You pay through Pride App with Orange Money, Afrimoney or card, through our payment partner. A booking or order is confirmed only when the payment succeeds.
• An unpaid hotel or shortlet booking holds the room or home for a short time and is then released.

4. Hotel and shortlet bookings

• Each place sets its own check-in and check-out times and its cancellation terms (Flexible, Moderate or Strict). They are shown before you book and on your booking.
• If you cancel inside the free window, you get a full refund. After it, the place may keep the amount its terms say.
• If a place cannot honour your confirmed booking, you get a full refund and we will try to help you find another.
• Respect the place's house rules. You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause.

5. Food orders and table bookings

• Delivery times are estimates. The restaurant prepares your food; a rider brings it.
• You can cancel an order until the restaurant accepts it. If an order is wrong, missing or never arrives, report it in the app and we will look into it and refund where it is fair.
• Some restaurants ask for a deposit to book a table. It is refunded if you cancel in time, as shown when you book.

6. Refunds

Refunds go back to the way you paid. Mobile money refunds usually arrive within a few days; cards can take longer, depending on your bank.

7. Reviews

You can review a place after your stay, order or table booking. Be honest and fair. We remove reviews that are abusive, false, or share someone's personal details.

8. What you must not do

• Break the law, or use Pride App for fraud or to harm others.
• Abuse or threaten businesses, riders or our staff.
• Try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours, or copy or overload the app.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Our responsibility

We work to keep Pride App available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Businesses are responsible for their rooms, homes and food. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for a booking or order is the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Sierra Leone consumer law.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account in the app under Profile, Privacy and your data. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and why.

11. Changes

If we change these terms, the app asks you to read and accept the new version at your next visit. The version you accepted stays recorded with your account.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone. Please contact us first so we can try to fix any problem. If we cannot, the courts of Sierra Leone decide.
